Paul Reece

Coach Paul comes to Select Soccer with an extensive playing and coaching history. Aside from a handful of other established clubs overseas, including starting several contests for Grimsby Town, Paul made appearances for Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, and Oxford United. After playing, Paul transitioned to coaching, where he was a youth goalkeeping coach for Nottingham Forest and Derby County.  As a goalkeeper coach in the US, Paul has spent time at Montclair State, Rider University, Match Fit and Jersey Express. Coach Paul currently holds several Goalkeeper licenses, as well as a UEFA B coaching license.

Scott Mccoubrey

Scott comes to Select Soccer with over 12 years of coaching experience at pro and grassroots levels. Scott holds a UEFA B license and a United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma. Scott is currently an assistant coach for NPSL team Atlantic City FC.

Tom Markopoulos

Coach Tom has over 14 years of coaching experience from the boys and girls side of all levels from U8-U19. He spent 7 years as a high school head coach in the Philadelphia Catholic League and 7 years coaching at the Philadelphia Ukrainian Nationals where he currently manages multiple teams. Tom specializes in refining technique and building individual player development. 

Giuseppe D'Alterio

Soccer has played an important part in his life since he was a child. He played as a defender for the Ukrainian Nationals, FC Continental Academy (FC Delco), FC Europa, and 2 years of varsity soccer at Lansdale Catholic before having to stop due to injury. Since he stopped playing, he has been coaching since he was 16. Starting out as a volunteer at the Ukrainian Nationals. After that, he went on to coach at XL Sports for a couple of years before joining Select in May 2023.

Mikaela Malofiy

Coach Mikaela, a 2019 graduate from Widener University in Chester, Pa., was a four-year starter and a captain during her junior and senior seasons. Coach Mikeala was selected as the 2016 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Sportsmanship Award Recipient and was also named to the 2015 MAC Honor Roll Squad. Mikaela also was a 3 year Assistant Coach with the Cedar Crest Falcons Women’s College soccer team for the 2019,2020 and 2021 seasons.
